Frain has been in demand: as well as appearing with Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange in Titus, this month he stars in a Santa murder mystery, Reindeer Games, alongside Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron. You're right to double take over the title: they are indeed the Christmas variety of reindeer, but the film was put back, renamed Deceptions, then re-shot, then returned to it's original title for an April release.

"I think they were worried about getting caught up in the Oscar rush," he explains. "It starts with all these murdered Santas. It's an old-fashioned thriller. I don't think it's an Oscar movie, you know?" His other project, Where the Heart Is, which he's just finished filming and which is out later this year, is a low-key romance that's "a heartwarming story of people trying to make sense of their lives."
